PARENT EDUCATION PROGRAM

Being the parent of a young man aspiring to be a college basketball player can be a challenge. Throughout the Jay Bilas Skills Camp we offer opportunities for parents to also "improve their game" with a series of presentations, question and answer sessions, and informative lectures on topics specifically selected for parents of young basketball players. Top notch speakers have included college coaches from all levels, strength and conditioning coaches, recruiting experts, sports medicine providers, and other parents who have been through the experience themselves.

While not mandatory, the parent sessions at the Jay Bilas Skills Camp are strongly encouraged and included free of charge to any parent with a son enrolled in the camp. Each day, two sessions are offered in the same facility as the camp is conducted which gives parents an opportunity to easily pop in on the action if they are interested in also watching their son during camp. Additional resources for parents after the camp experience are also made available by both speakers and the Jay Bilas Skills Camp.

This program is FREE with camper attendance and $100 without a camper attending.
